First monthly Winemakers Event of 2023
Sagecliffe is located in the heart of Washington State’s wine country. Our passion for wine has long been intertwined with the resort, though we’ve only recently branched out into producing our own sparkling wine.
With the launch of our Blanc de Blanc and Rosé, we’re excited to be hosting our first monthly Winemakers Event of 2023.

Wine at Sagecliffe
Our Resort is nestled in the rolling hills of the Columbia Valley, where the warm days and cool nights provide the perfect climate for growing a variety of grapes.
We’ve recently partnered with Treveri Cellars, a family-owned wine house that produces some of the finest handcrafted sparkling wines in the United States. After months of working on the perfect recipe for our wines, we came up with two distinct flavors.
As well as branching out into our own wine creation, we’ve also been hosting Winemakers Events for many months now and provide a great place to stay for those to take in the vineyard experience.
Winemakers Event
January 13th will be the first Winemakers Event held at Sagecliffe in 2023, and we’re very much looking forward to welcoming RM Wineries, who will be hosting.
About RM Wineries:
Jerry Milbrandt, a pioneer of the Columbia Valley wine region, saw potential in growing and producing world-class wines in Eastern Washington. In 1997, he planted their first vineyards and soon became recognized for helping establish two of the top AVAs in Washington State: Ancient Lake and Wahluke Slope.
Now RM Wineries has:
- Estate vineyards spanning over 3,000 acres along with two wine processing facilities: Ancient Lake and Wahluke Wine Company.
- Four winemakers (two at each facility) with over 100 years of winemaking experience: Kendall Mix, Ali Mayfield, Brandon Rice, and Nicole Arnold.
On top of doing large production blending, RM Wineries also does high-end small lot fermentations and is in the process of developing more labels to expand their salesforce in the market. Overall, RM Wineries is focused on three things: consistently producing world-class Washington State Wines, furthering consumer education about Washington State Wines, and cultivating strong, long-lasting relationships within the industry.
If you’d like to experience RM Wineries’ expertise for yourself, then reserve a place at our Winemakers Event to enjoy their wine selection with a five-course dinner and live music with Aaron Crawford for $175 pp.
