Tom Petty Tribute Weekend
Tom Petty was the lead vocalist and guitarist of the iconic rock band Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, originally formed back in 1976. Later, he led the band Mudcrutch, was a member of the 1980s supergroup the Traveling Wilburys, and had worldwide success as a solo artist.
His unique take on classic rock influences many songwriters, bands and tribute artists around the globe. A modern take on a Tom Petty tribute, without the blonde locks, is Petty Thief, who will be coming to Sagecliffe for one weekend only this July!
About Petty Thief
Petty Thief is a no-frills rock band from Seattle, WA, that encompasses the Tom Petty sound and brings the 1970s/80s music scene back to life. They approach the tribute genre as a true live rock and roll band, not a novelty act, and claim to offer the most authentic and genuine sounding Tom Petty experience in the Pacific Northwest.
The members of Petty Thief all come from a background of recording and touring with various successful cover, tribute and original bands but were brought together by their love for Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.
The band was originally formed in 2007 by Andy Volmer as a spoof for a Halloween show, but 2022 will mark their 15th Anniversary, and they are still performing at their best, loving every show with fans of Tom Petty’s music.

Our outdoor concert space is the perfect place to enjoy Petty Thief’s music, and since we get over 300 days of sunshine in Quincy, July is set to be ideal for an outdoor rock fest. If you miss Tom Petty like we do and you want to experience Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers music from the fantastic Petty Thief, there’s really no better location for it. With a backdrop of the dramatic Columbia River gorge and rolling patchwork hills, it’s going to be unforgettable.
