What’s on at Sagecliffe this May

April showers bring May flowers. We’re well in the swing of spring and heading towards summer, with sunshine, live music, good food, wines and great times ahead.

There is so much going on at Sagecliffe Resort this month, including Cinco de Mayo celebrations, plenty of treats for Mother’s Day and the opening of our outdoor pool.

Live Music Lineup

We have a great music lineup this May:

  • Aaron Crawford will be performing on Friday 5th May in the Lobby
  • Katie Wade is here on Friday 12th May between 8-11pm
  • On Saturday 13th, Ray Glover will be bringing his guitar for an open event
  • We’ll have live music from Well Strung during our Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday 14th May between 11-2pm
  • Chris Anderson will be performing in the Lobby on Friday 19th between 6-9pm
  • 215 Productions will be providing live music for our guests-only pool party on Friday 26th at 8pm
  • Brian Sacco will be performing Saturday 20th May from 8pm

Don’t forget that we always have our music lineup on our ‘What’s On Calendar’, which you can view here.

Ladies Days are Back

On Thursday 4th of May, our outdoor pool will be opening for the summer, and we’ll be holding one of our infamous Ladies Days – the first one of the season. Ladies Days are always $35 per person (or $15 per person for guests) and include swimming or relaxing at the pool, as well as wine and flatbread tasting. If that sounds like your kind of Thursday evening, be sure to join us in the sunshine between 5-6pm.

There will be four Ladies Days in May:

  • Thursday 4th May – Book
  • Thursday 11th May – Book
  • Thursday 18th May – Book
  • Thursday 25th May – Book

Although walk-ins are welcome if we have space, it’s recommended to reserve a place as they are limited.

Cinco de Mayo Pool Party Event with Live Music

Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is a yearly celebration held on May 5, which commemorates the anniversary of Mexico’s victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Celebrated in parts of Mexico and the United States, Cinco de Mayo literally means “May 5” in Spanish, which is when this celebration of Mexican heritage falls each year.

For the Cinco de Mayo weekend, we’re having a Ladies Day, at our pool area, and we’ll be hosting live music from Aaron Crawford. There will also be a pool party for guests with 215 Productions on Saturday and a special menu including a mexican buffet and special beer.
